Alan Wake

Details on this upcoming psychological thriller game have been very scarce. I mean, I personally can't believe that it's been two months since we last updated you guys on Alan Wake! Well, Microsoft has been pretty tight-lipped about the game so can't really blame us there.

Seriously though, Alan Wake would have to be one of the most stunning games the Xbox360 is yet to encounter. The extremely detailed graphics definitely add to the eeriness of the game's storyline. How, you ask? Well, as we said in our game preview, most of the scenes in Alan Wake will be set in dark places: cabins, garages, etc. And, the flashlight will have a very significant role in gameplay. Now imagine dark places, a flashlight, extremely detailed graphics -- all set in a psychological thriller. If that's not enough to get you all psyched for the game then I dunno what will.

Now here's the bad news: originally scheduled for release January 2007, it seems that Remedy Entertainment is not quite ready to bring out Alan Wake. Xbox360Only reports that Remedy has allegedly decided to push back the game's release date to 2008. Drat. But so far, neither Remedy nor Microsoft has confirmed this so let's just keep our fingers crossed 'til then. We'll keep you posted for more.

...or maybe this game only takes around 6 hours to complete so they're needed to add significantly to the game...multi-disc maybe? Why else would you delay an entire year?!?

every good game does get pushed back but the thing is i dont think it will look that great on the 360 not ps3 fanboy or pc fanboy but they said its going to require a Quad core intel processor to run this game on normal which isnt even out yet and im pretty sure it will be more powerful then the 360's cpu which probably means 360 is going to have a toned down version of the game and yes i do own a 360 and my pc is ***** so dont call me a fanboy

I'll believe it when it's on a reputable website or two, not a lone German site that I've never heard of... Until then, 07 it is
