Age of Conan weaponry concept art |
Ó
Assistant Art Director Grant Regan for Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures reveals that the locations in Hyboria are not merely represented by the world design, but are identified as well by the design of the weapons and armor that the opposing forces will use.
"This means that the team spends a lot of time designing weapons and armor that have very different and unique looks to them... We feel that the effort put into giving the different cultures unique aspects to their weaponry is very important..." But of course. After all, these details are pivotal in creating the feeling that players really are following in the steps of Conan, and making the dangers that they are facing seem more real.
That's why today, we are bringing you a new series of several new concept art pieces that marks the very distinctive looks of weaponry from each of the different regions in Conan. See, and look at them well. One of them may either save or take your life.
