Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures - The Black Ring Citadel in focus |
Ó
By Crom! After featuring a plethora of landscapes and fields players in Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures can explore, the guys at Funcom are again giving fans of this game a treat! What kind of treat you ask? The revelation of The Black Ring Citadel, a realm designed for high-level characters.
Located in the Stygian deserts, it is an area of raw evil and corruption. Creatures that call this place home can be considered as some of the greatest challenges Hyboria can throw at you. With great risk comes great reward however, and the treasure this place holds deep inside its halls of death is said to be the finest in the land.
The Associate Producer on Age of Conan Henning Solberg said the location was designed for a party of 24 characters. He also hinted at the challenge this instance offers to would-be raiders. Here's the gist of his talk:
On the mountain side overlooking Kheshatta stands The Black Ring Citadel. Inside its closed gates the Stygian mages conduct research, breath life into rock and create plots to increase their influence and power in the world of Hyboria. Unwelcome visitors will encounter nameless evil and boundless terror if they dare to journey into this heart of darkness.
Solberg said that he would have loved to share more about the game, but most of the stuff has already been reserved for E3. I guess we'll just have to wait till then for more info right? That said, this dungeon is looking really good. But if the challenge of the dungeon doesn't appeal to you, you'll probably want to go just to see the half-naked girls.
