Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures - Details and clarifications on massive PvP system - Image 1Do expect a lot of action to happen in Funcom's upcoming MMO, Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures (Xbox 360 and PC). But before you get your equipment and head off to battle, take down some notes regarding the game's PvP system.

Associated producer Morten Byom explains some of the things you have to know on the vulnerability window and Guild PvP points that you'll encounter within the game.

Let's get down to business. The window itself will be showing all the battlekeeps, its owner, the time when its ready to be attacked,  the guilds that can lay siege upon it, and the number of Guild PvP points that other players have.

Players can declare war against opponents through the window's GUI. Now if this commences, the vulnerability window will be locked 24 hours prior to the actual fight itself. After every fight, the system will automatically open the vulnerability window of a recently acquired battlekeep for three days. If you're the owner, your task is to defend it over and over against invaders.

The Guild PvP points are used to determine if groups or players have the right to siege battlekeeps. Players who participate in it will generate points for their respective guilds through the minigames and experience gained from PvP battles. These points will reset to zero whenever a real battle is started. The reason is that it allows guilds to partake in this event.

Now that you guys are informed about what to do with the MMO's massive PvP system, you can use it to your advantage. To help you even more, we'll be posting more helpful updates and news on the game when we get them.
