Age of Conan class preview: Druid of the Storm |
Ó
You've seen gazillions of screens and even checked out the weaponry concept art for the 360 version of Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures. So what new info could we possibly bring you that you don't already know?Well, as an update to our earlier report that Funcom has revised the character tree for the 360 version of Conan, we're gonna tell you all about the priests of shamanistic arts -- the Druid of the Storm. And so as not to bore you guys with a long read, here's how we're gonna do this:
- These priests of the shamanistic arts are at one with nature, making them adept at natural healing processes and ancient charms and arts to protect them and their allies during battle.
- Druids are feared more because they can call forth the power of weather; lighting, storms, extreme cold, the works.
- An example of their weather power (at level 80) is the ‘Eye of the Storm’ where Druids can summon a great hurricane to come down upon them and act as a natural shield.
- While the Eye of the Storm defends the Druids against attacks and increases electrical magic damage and the radius effect for their lightning-based spells, it also makes Druids' movement quite impossible.
