Adam Thole, Talismoon to bring motion-sensitivity to Xbox 360?

Previously, we reported on Adam Thole's tiltBoard which adds motion to the Xbox 360 wireless controller. Originally, achieving motion-sensitivity could be procured in only two ways. One was to purchase a tiltBoard and install it on your controller yourself (he has already posted a how-to video), and the second way was to actually buy a controller from Thole. Well, as it turns out, the controllers he created made such a stir that he decided to mass produce it.

He has recently announced that he is working with Talismoon (a specialist peripheral maker) to produce his tiltBoard for the Xbox 360. The tiltBoard will be redesigned for its mass market release.

No other info or details were given about this upcoming product, as Adam Thole said that he "can not say much more yet." However, he does promised that "it will be worth the wait". Well, we'll be waiting, and if it turns out good, we'll be picking ourselves up a pair. While waiting, you can check out the Thole's latest tiltBoard installation video.

Ok so the kids is tilting his controller...... Even i could do that. What you dont see is the kid behind him playing with the regular controller that is controlling the game. You can even notice that sometimes the kid tilts the controller 1 way and it goes the other. If you honestly beilive this than you should go jump off a bridge with larry and moe

I thought MS doesn't let third parties make wireless controllers? A motion-sensing wired controller would be pretty gay

that if he were to implement motion sensing into the controller he would have to re-configure the settings if not the game to accept the actually information that it is being given?

..... that was actually an official MS wireless controller.... he just (supposedly) modded it, if you didn't notice the begining of the video with him showing the back of the controller without the battery. Anyways, I quoted supposedly cuz he was tryin to show you that he threw a chip in there. TO sum everything up, I got 2 words for you!!! Its FAKE!

# not fake at allGuest 2007-04-07 11:25
" ms is copying sony to much lately"

This is NOT made by MS

"Its FAKE!"

It's not fake at all. It's just a user made mod. You can even make it yourself. See:

http://www.adamthole.com/

"he would have to re-configure the settings if not the game to accept the actually information"

Wrong! The tilt circuit emulates exactly what the analog stick would have been sending the game. No need to re-configure anything in software

Please use your brains before posting.

And as for this mod, it's a novelty just like SIXAXIS. Can't see it being much good (just like the ..........)

I actually paid attention to the article while reading it over again, he's just producing the tiltBoard thing, not an entire controller. Still, seems kinda useless, and it's probably a pain to use, not worth more than $20

How does one go about copying exclusive games that aren't out yet? An exclusive game is not 100% exclusive until it hits the shelves.
