Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation Namco Bandai - Image 1Fans of Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation already had their share of epic downloadable content packs with spiffed-up aircraft and new missions and maps, and now it's time for a title update that will improve the basic features and add some tweaks to the online multiplayer gameplay modes in Namco Bandai's popular flight simulator.

What's in store for gamers in this title update? One nice improvement is implemented in the aircraft's HUD, which will now indicate points gained or lost during online play. Another welcome improvement is that players will be invulnerable for sometime after every respawn. Also, the strength of all special weapons are adjusted and updated for more balance in gameplay.

To make things more challenging in multiplayer, pilots who leave the battlefield, get shot down, or crashed during Team Battle and Battle Royale modes will be penalized. On the other hand, players who manage to damage enemy aircraft instead of making complete kills will get additional points.

Players will also be delighted to notice that they will be able to identify who is talking in the pre-game lobby, while waiting for their turn to battle. Those who engage in lobby chat will be identified with their GamerTags and a microphone icon.

The above changes in Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation will be implemented the next time the game is started. The update is free to all users with an active Xbox Live Gold or Silver account and will be downloaded automatically once the game is started.
