Here's a dozen new screenshots from BioWare for Mass Effect 2. What's intriguing about this batch is that it showcases the green fellow (it may be a he or a she), regarded as Shepard's new teammate.

How's s/he faring in the action? Check it out below:

P.S. S/he is said to be named Thane.

woot

also a Quarian and a Krogan. those were my two favorite races :) and if that is an Asari, it's definitely female.

apparently it's a new race called Drell.

I hope Shepard doesn't do it with her too!

The guy is like Captain Kirk....just 2 breasts and a heartbeat!

xD

Why I couldn't get with Wrex is beyond me! Also, my Shepherd is a girl. I was going to say 2 balls and a heartbeat...but I suppose breast could fit in for the Asari also? xD

I know I havn't read everything that has come out on this game, so has anyone caught whether they are still using the Unreal engine for this one ? I really could not stand all the pop-in of bump-mapping that plagues the high-end Unreal Engine games. It was not so bad in Gears, but in an RPG'ish Dialogue driven game with lots of cut scenes it ruined it....

Yes they are

The ME trilogy will be using Unreal for each game. Tho I'm pretty sure I read the pop-in is not a problem with the engine that can't be fixed, it can be eliminated. There are a few Unreal engine games with no pop-in. Hopefully ME2 doesn't have it
