A closer look at Sazh Katzroy

Last month, we got a few tidbits of info about Final Fantasy XIII (PS3, Xbox 360)'s very own afro man. Hungry for more info? We've got more right here, courtesy of Famitsu, with screens from the much awaited Square Enix title. It's all about Sazh Katzroy right here!

Personality wise, it seems that Sazh will be some sort of comic relief alongside the less-than-interested Lightning. Sazh seems to be tailing Lightning, who seems to try and lose poor ol' Sazh whenever an opportunity presents itself. Despite having a light personality, Sazh actually cares a lot deep down, as seen in one of the screens, consoling a boy who he and Lightning rescued.

About the 'fro, well, it's one of the things he cares about. He's very particular about his carefully-trimmed do, and so is his Chocobo chick which uses it as a nest. We already know he wields two pistols, but we can also see that he can use some magic.

That issue was pretty old, but hey, for those who haven't been checking the Japanese news sites, this might be a useful something-something for you.
