Electronic Arts has announced that the website for the 2006 FIFA World Cup has gone live to celebrate the world's largest sporting event in gaming. In 2006 FIFA World Cup, gamers can choose from 127 national teams and play right from the qualification round up to the championship. The game, developed by EA Canada, features Global Challenge mode which recreates classic moments in World Cup history. Serious football gamers can try to outplay one another with the game's eight-way multiplayer matches and take advantage of unlockable contents such as football legends and exclusive apparels. And if that is not enough to warm you up, perhaps the new screenshots below will heat things up for you.
