No wonder retailers are so worried about not having enough stock of Kinect to satiate consumers' appetites for it. Microsoft has announced that in a mere ten days, their motion technology has already sold a whopping million units around the world.
"It's a strong start," said Don Mattrick of Microsoft. He got that part right, he sure did. "Consumers are loving it." And it's because of this outpouring love for Kinect that their goal of 5 million units sold by the end of the year becomes closer by the day.
Retailers like GameStop are even agreeing that between Sony's PlayStation Move and Kinect, it's the controller-less one that's getting the upper hand. "I'd say right now Microsoft's Kinect is looking to be the winner of the two for us," said an executive for the retail giant.
It's going to be an interesting showdown this coming holidays then. Which side are you on?

For me, both of the add-ons should attract the casual gamers, especially families. You know, Mothers and Fathers want that children start to move around.
