In an earlier article, we brought you a retro vid that traces the beginnings of Link, our trusty sword-wielding hero in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. And as an update to that, we now bring you the second installment of tracing Link's beginnings with this new vid that Gametrailers has just posted up.

Like its predecessor, the video shows Link in all the previous games he appeared in. The video is not only nostalgia-inducing, it's also hilarious because it reminds you of the days when bosses looked like flashing, floating blu-ray discs, and when movement seemed to be restricted to square movements (back, front, left, right). The vid not only shows how far our green hero has gone, but we also see the progress that Nintendo has made with their consoles and their exclusive games.

Alright, since this writer is already starting to get all dreamy and spaced out thinking of her childhood, why don't you just check out the video yourself, just click on the download link below and get ready to be time-warped to the SNES days!

Ah man, seeing that video made me want to go back and play every Zelda game again. I had forgotten how fun they were. Too bad I don't have WindWaker or Master Quest anymore. And my N64 cables are missing. I guess I'll just have to download them on Virtual Console then.
