You Can't Fool the Wii

MarvelPeople have been wondering about how accurate the Wii really will be when it comes to gestures. In the E3 demo of Red Steel, people were disappointed at how you could have the WiiMote convey your movements straight to the screen. That is being fixed according to some sources. MTV sat down with Activision to talk about Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, in hope of shedding light on this serious matter (gaming IS serious).

It seems that although it doesn't feel that accurate at first, the WiiMote just needs a lot of testing to work right.  "Within a week it went from being 60 to 70 percent reliable to 97 percent reliable," said Mike Chrzanowsk of Activision. When the game is released, you'll be able to flick your wrist to shoot webs as Spiderman and shudder your forearm to reveal your claws as Wolverine! Should make for some fun times.
