Nintendo's latest controller for the Wii console can be considered a trend setter. Engineers have even adapted the Wiimote technology for bomb disposal. Aside from that, scientists have also utilized the motion-sensing remote to study the link between movement and learning. Who's next to adopt it, you ask?
Well, a competitor of Nintendo it seems. We just got wind that Microsoft has been doing the same thing for the Xbox 360. It's been said that the company has been developing a 360 version of the motion-sensitive Wiimote since summer.
This was told by a source to MTV who chooses to be anonymous. The source was able to divulge interesting bits and pieces of information regarding the remote being developed.
Apparently, Rare Ltd., the company behind Perfect Dark Zero, has been assigned to create a unified interface and look for the controller. According to the source, unfortunately, the studio hasn't been able to meet its deadlines.
Well, MTV asked Microsoft to comment on this. All that Microsoft had to say was, "Microsoft does not comment on rumors and speculation." The photo on the right side above is a sketch of the prototype that was provided by the source himself.
It certainly resembles the design of the Wiimote, don't you think? But unlike Nintendo's remote, the concept remote has four face buttons, an analog stick, and a microphone. Well, all we can say is that this is certainly interesting.
We'll keep you guys posted on the developments on this particular concept controller and the company involved with it. Do stick around our site for that.

At least acknowledge that the remote looks like that SceneIt controller for the game, removing some of the functions of the normal 360 controller, meaning that you won't have LB, RB, LT, RT, D-Pad, etc.
Without add-ons, I really couldn't see this controller going far, except only with the casual market, which may turn the console in the Microsoft Xii.

1080p - That's a joke right? 1080p on DVD9? Try again, you FAIL. You get 1080p as long as the game isn't all that big. In fact, only if it's very small.
5.1 digital sound - Again you and your 360 FAIL. Try 7.1 UNCOMPRESSED audio on the PS3.
XBOX live (no friend codes) - No friend codes on PSN that I've ever used. Either way, who cares? Is this another cry baby problem with you and the Wii?
upscaling DVD player - Who the hell needs to upscale DVD with a REAL HD PLAYER? HAHAHA!!!!!!!!! ! Enjoy your upscaled garbage!

ISOHaven - I peg you as a "gotta have the best" gamer. You don't look at game lineup as a mandatory necessity but rather the technological side. You're in it for the long haul and you want to make sure ever dollar you spend on it is an advancement not old technology done better. All PS3 owners are "gotta have the best" gamers, that's why they have HDTV's before the analog signal fades out, that's why they have audio receivers with optical in, that's why the have a Sony Style credit card and I'm almost willing to bet that this same person owns a Mac instead of a Windows computer.
Mister Common Sense - I peg you as a "just have fun" gamer. You don't care about bells and whistles. You just want to have fun. Whether that's fragging on C.O.D.4 or that's going through a dream sequence in Lost Odyssey, you just want to enjoy what the video game media has to offer to it's full extent. You MAY have a HDTV and you may have a decent stereo but it's nothing fancy, just makes things loud. You probably used to be a PC Gamer (Wolfenstein, Doom, Quake, Diablo) but now that PC parts are so expensive you just play on 360 and you're just waiting for a good time to get back in the PC market (when NASA can finally run Crysis at minimal settings would be a good time)...
Wii customers are the "I'm busy but this is addicting" kind of gamer. They normally have a starbucks coffee in their hand while they do their Wii bowling and they're probably on the cell phone when they're playing wii tennis. They might even be talking over bills in wii boxing... Note all my examples used only referred to Wii Sports... That system wouldn't sell so well if Wii Sports wasn't included with it (look at the Grammy's!) and if retards weren't still buying them for $500 for their spoiled children...
My opinion about this matter, if Microsoft wants to do motion technology that's fine, but let's do it in a way that you can wear it as gloves, anklets, and let's get back in the direction of VR (virtual reality) - dare I say that the dreams of going online and fighting each other ever come true in a Kobol 3 or a Streets of Rage Vs...
Anyways, I know I'm not going to get the popular vote at times but really, Microsoft has enough money to push the 360 that they don't care if it fails. They did however buy stock in the Wii remote company though so they should know how to make a Wiimote now... We'll see how it turns out, E for all isn't that far away....

You should look around in the Wii section, you'll see MCS bashing Nintendo at topics including its features or about how it is doing in the market, then you come tell me who's worse between the two.
Also, I'd argue against the points you bring up vs. the PS3 and 360 since you seem more biased to your 360 yourself, but I'm too lazy, and like you said, we have our likes and dislikes :)

I don't hate the 360. Who told you that? I just don't need a slightly upgraded Xbox. Plus all the features of the PS3 blow the 360 out of the water. That's my opinion along with technological FACT. Oh and for the record, Halo 3 was never made in 720P either, it was made in an obscure resolution to accommodate the lighting and bump mapping layers so it's not even 720 it's more like 687 or something weird like that... But it's true, a game can be made in 1080P native on a DVD9 but it either won't be a long game or it would have to be on multiple discs (see Lost Odyssey - 4 discs). So to tease about 360's lack of space, I find that fair game, blu-ray will win every time but to say the 360 is in capable is completely absurd. Go to the ps3 homebrew dev websites (ps3dev.org I think) and they'll tell you that because the PS3 has ASSIGNED memory for video, sound ect, it causes game developers to have to take up more space doing software buffering on the PS3 where the 360 they can just do a memory flush and use the whole memory bus to do any task... So yes, the PS3 is more powerful (cell proc still has a questionable spead maximum) but as far as developer friendly the 360 is more like a PS2 than a PS3 is and since PS2 had 1900+ games it can only be assumed that it was easy to make games for it..
What makes this whole debate really retarded is that it really has no end, 360 gamers will play on xbox live and won't think differently of their gaming habits, PS3 gamers/Blu-ray watchers will go on and won't even bat an eye-lash in the direction of a 360 still and Wii gamers will still try to get their highest score in Wii Tennis and be too busy to debate what systems are good... Nothing changes anyone's opinions any more, democrats still vote democrat, whiners still whine, pride mongers are still prideful... Not worth wasting the time any more...
As an attack though on ISOHaven (not to be cruel but debateful) PC gamers have no place in console gaming, you will NEVER get the equivalent experience on a console than a PC (mods, replay, community, interactive, mouse control, freedom to edit) and it sucks that piracy has put a damper on your precious market because you'd leave us poor gamers who can only afford consoles (and not super powered PC's) alone... Building a computer that can run anything these days costs at least $1500 and I'd rather spend my $1500 on a 360 ($350) with xbox live ($50) and $1100 worth of games and equipment than have a PC power machine that I'll end up only using to go to QJ forums and talk about two trolls who blatantly hate each other's online personalities and not play PC games on... Oh and I'd use it for porn too (porn ftw)....

It seems that you're no longer getting dirt out of the hole, seeing as your last comment held no ground. If there was a way to prove that I am not, then you'd probably wouldn't even believe it anyways. I also can't be a Nintendo employee, as I am only 15, and I don't plan to work for Nintendo in the future! I'd rather join or make my own third-party company.
