Xbox 360 could have been home for No More Heroes

No More Heroes - Image 1Well here's one game that could have made the Xbox 360 fanboys happy. Suda 51's No More Heroes was originally intended for Microsoft's console, so said Goichi Suda, Suda 51 himself.

What made them change their minds? Apparently, it was the motion-sensing controls of the Wii that did it:

Originally, I'd wanted to make this game for Xbox 360, actually. [Marvelous Interactive boss] Wada-san had information about the new Wii and how the controller would work before it came out, so that's why he thought I should produce the game on that format.

Apparently, Suda was impressed enough to have the title develop for Nintendo's family-friendly console instead. "At that time, I didn't really understand why, but after seeing and understanding how it works, I think it was a good choice and the controller works really well with the game."
