Yep, girls play video games - Image 1To prove the Wii's magic, the Wyoming Tribune-Eagle took it out for a test drive. As one would expect, hardcore gamers and clueless parents alike were attracted to Ninty's waving stick.

Chris Pease, a 13-year old enthusiast with a plethora of consoles (PlayStation 2, GameCube, PSP, DS, GBA SP, and Xbox 360) said he wanted a Wii.

But it wasn't out yet when he had birthday money to pick one up. After getting one though, he seems to enjoy the workout of playing Wii games more than his previous experiences.

A couple of girls were also occupied with playing a boxing game. They moved like how actual boxers would, covering their faces and all that.

One of those girls, Ashley Knight, even convinced her mother to get a Wii. Sunday came and they were lucky enough to find the last unit sitting on Target's shelves. Without hesitation, they picked it up along with a few titles.

Alice Knight, Ashley's mother, was definitely happy about what they get from the Wii. Not only do they get physical fitness exercises, but also quality time bonding with the family. "We actually spend time in the same room and that doesn't happen too frequently with teenagers," said Alice.
