Nintendo Wii - Image 1Nintendo truly aimed for the biggest audience when it designed its Wii console, and Ninty managed to achieved what it tried to do. Gladys Powers, a veteran who served the British forces during the First World War as a waitress, is one of the few survivors and she's still able to play the motion sensing console at the age of 108.

Powers first got a hold of the Nintendo Wii when her retirement home received the console, and she was seen boxing with it and punching away. "She has a lot of energy. It was a lot of fun," said Debbie Block, activity coordinator at the retirement home where Powers lives.

An impressive record is under Powers name before she reached Valhaven in Abbotsford, B.C. She was born in England in 1899, joined the Women's Auxiliary Air Force, then moved to the Women's Royal Air Force as a barracks waitress.

Today, she's seen dancing with the Wii. "She still dances. But she dances with her walker now, just for stability," said Powers.

Thanks to justin for the tip!

So you admit that you CAN get exercise with the wii....cause you know....obviously it would take a fair amount of physical action even with a WW1 vet to get injured.......or did you just not think it through all the way?? probably not XD
