World Class Baseball - Image 1If you're looking for some nostalgic fun on the Nintendo Wii's Virtual Console, Hudson has an offering that might interest you when it hits on Monday. It's that 1988 baseball thriller World Class Baseball, and it's here to test if your skills transcend generations.

World Class Baseball puts you in a tournament with 12 selectable teams which are competing for global supremacy on the diamond. If you beat all the teams in contention, you'll square off against the mighty Turbo Tigers which is this game's rendition of an all-star squad. The match will be a fit for every definition of the word "unfair," so brace yourself.

Baseball sims have evolved throughout the generations of gaming but some titles just stand the test of time. World Class Baseball is one of those classics and you should try it by all means when it gets out of the bullpen. This one's worth 600 Wii points.
