elebitsAt KonamiÂ’s Summer BBQ 2006 in California late last week, Denis Lee, the company's Group Marketing Manager, told AMN that online play for its upcoming Elebits is "not totally out of the question." But for now Konami is hush-hush on the issue.

He did loosen his lips enough to say the team behind Elebits is "looking into online and trying to find out what the best kind of gameplay they can get into the game is and still make launch window. We’re working on a few ideas, but we’re not talking about online specifically.”

See, we told you they're not talking much.

We do know that Elebits was designed to fully integrate the Wiimote into gameplay. Through the Wiimote, players can push, pull, lift and do other stuff to find the secret hiding places of these walking Easter eggs. The number of Elebits caught determines the options and opportunities available in the game's ever-changing environment.

Elebits will launch alongside Wii (whenever that may be) but Konami is offering promo plush dolls for pre-orders.
