Ó

WiiSX - Image 1I'm glad to see this project is still alive. WiiSX, the PSOne emulator for the Wii, has been given an update by the team that brought us the Wii64.

The PSX emulator is still "far from stable," but the project is moving along with new features, upgrades, and the addition of various support systems. Here's the changelog:
  • Track down nasty bug Interpreter (always WIP)
  • ALL Fix Missing Graphics (Endian?) Issues (Done?)
  • Software Rendered Graphics (WIP)
  • Graphical User Interface
  • Dynamic Rebuilding (After the above is completed)
  • Hardware Accelerated Graphics
  • Sound (WIP, XA not working all the time?)
  • Input (Gamecube Controller supported for now)
  • Native Saves (to FAT / TM) (SD only so far)
  • DVD Storage & Loading FAT (FAT for now)
  • Rumble Support
  • Save States (to SD)
  • Progressive / Screen Resolution
  • Light gun support

You can play all the resident evils on Wii anyway (The whole collection is on gamecube and there is no need for an emulator to play gamecube games on your Wii now is there???)

All the other resident evil games such as outbreak and dead aim aren't resident evil. They're just *****e and a disgrace to the resident evil series, just like the movies and just how COD 3 and COD: WAW is a disgrace to the original COD series!

Hi i recently downloaded wiisx from the internet. You need the ps1 bios in the bios folder, plus the .iso or .img or .bin/cue Personaly i didnt find that the bin/cue files worked very good. the .img's are the best and can only be made from the original ps1 cd's. With out the ps1 bios i find that the wiisx doesnt work as well as it should. Also can someone find or make some bette sound drivers. I don't know if it's the game or what but the sound's suck! PLAYSTATION RULES ON THE Wii!!
