The Wiikey Team has announced a brand new modchip for the Nintendo Wii. It's called Wiikey Fusion, a revolutionary modchip for the Wii with SD card capabilities. It will allow users to play backup ISOs from an SD card and from DVD. The new modchip is scheduled to be released in October. Check out this video demo.

So have the WiiKey team been living under a rock the last like 9 months or is this for people who don't have enough time to use the actual internet and only check the Wiikey website whenever they get on? Playing backups from SD card is not exactly a brand-new idea/technology.... This seemed like a waste of time and resource by that company.

And the video seems like the Wiikey team is full of themselves.... The whole "changed the way an entire generation enjoyed video games"... They didn't invent modchips... I've had a modded PS1 for well over 10 years now. And a PS2, GC, Xbox, GBA, NDS, PSP, and 360 all modded since then. The whole thing seems liek they are trying to squeeze one last ounce of cash from the pockets of the ignorant before there is no more money to be had.
