Interesting. I wonder if their firmware updates will be in sync with both chips or if they plan to abandon the old one.
I'll have to check out the install for both and see if it will be easy to upgrade.
i don't trust the wiikey team anymore ... i had enough problems with the first wiikey and it wasn't a clone
Interesting. What problems? Any chance the problems are due to a bad install?
I've yet to have any problems with mine. But then again I haven't played ALL games. What games did you have problems with?
The Wiikey has always worked great for me.
Like a month after I had the original WiiKey installed.. Meh..
Nintendo should bundle a modchip with each Wii console since they require one to be remotely useful.
i wonder why this dude bothers reading stuff about wiis if all he knows is to say some bad sh|t about it..
He's just a jackass. Everyone knows it. I blame his parents. Not enough love. Something makes him want to be an ***** all the time and only someone with a PhD can figure it out.
my 1st gen wiikey works 100% with every game i have tried... including SSBB japan and us, and mario kart wii...
the only thing i am waiting for is skate.it
my first gen wiikey seems to be working just fine as well.
My other wii running yaosm was having problems when SSBB came out. I have not used that setup since then. The wiikey plays everything I throw at it. Even cheap media. In fact, it plays games that my other D2Ckey cant even begin to try and read!
