WiiD modchip - Image 1Installation diagrams for the WiiD modchip are now available online at the official WiiD website. The team behind the WiiD modchip have also announced that the firmware upgrade and upgrade instructions for the modchip will be online tomorrow. The list of WiiD retailers has also been updated so check that out too if you're thinking about getting one for your Nintendo Wii console.

WiiD is an upgradeable modchip for the Nintendo Wii videogame console that lets Wii owners play Wii and GameCube backups. It can also let you run Homebrew in GC mode. It also effectively works as a region-free loader and supports European, North American, and Japanese versions of the Wii console. For a look at WiiD's features, check out this previous QJ article.
