WiiCommander is essentially a utility which can test the connectivity of the Wiimote and its settings for the PC. The good thing about it is that it was coded in Java, making it a very flexible program which can run on many platforms.
The current build of WiiCommander flags itself at version 2.0 and adds several new features to its list of versatile testing features for the motion sensitive controller. Here's a list of the new features included in the latest release:
- Adapt to WiiRemoteJ API v1.5
- Separate IR viewer and simulator.
- Add a window to show a complex application cursor (position, rotation and zoom) controlled by IR.
- Interface revamping.
- Preferences enhancements.
- Various Fixes.
