Some Wii-style demon-bashing is in the offing thanks to Data Design Interactive's official announcement that they have secured the rights to publish and develop the Nintendo Wii version of the PC game Call for Heroes: Pompolic Wars. The Wii version of this 3D Action/RPG title is slated for a Q4 2007 release.

"This is already a great game on PC, which is greatly improved with the extensive use of the Wii controllers, to make the player immerse into the magic casting and weapon wielding adventure," said Stewart Green MD of Data Design Interactive. "We are excited to bring this new genre onto the Wii console."

In Call for Heroes: Pompolic Wars, players can choose to play as one of two unique characters. Each of these characters have their own special abilities, weapons and items, and they'll be needing all of these as players go through the game's 15 levels. Check out the screenshots below for a sneak peek at the game.
