Best Buy Wii circular for today - Image 1Is it still that hard to get Wii units nowadays? Well, at any rate, today is your lucky day in case you haven't purchased one yet. Retail chain Best Buy just released a circular saying that its stores will have Wii stocks today.

It seems that it has been the habit of this store to replenish its stocks during weekends. Anyway, regular stores will have a minimum of 12 units so we expect the bigger ones to have more. Gaming site Kotaku added that there will also be Wii units available in Circuit City stores.

In case you still miss on those two, it would never hurt to walk in another retail outlet and ask if they have units for sale.

The above mentioned circular is also promoting bargain video games Rapala Tournament Fishing and Bust-a-Move Bash! (US$ 39.99 each) as well as hit titles like Sonic and the Secret Rings, Super Paper Mario, and The Godfather: Blackhand Edition (US$ 49.99) among others.

Like we said, you can get your Wii unit at Best Buy today - provided that you haven't been turned off by its misleading intranet site.

Old news

My best buy had a sign advertising Wii's coming in on Sunday, I saw it on Friday and apparently it'd been there for a while, so this should be really old news.

Where wii's go

Judging from the lack of wii's available at retail outlets and the huge number of wii's for sale on ebay, many with photos of lots of 10 or more, I would say that unless you have hours to wait before the store opens or you are extremely lucky, not to expect to have the opportunity to purchase a wii for retail price until sometime in summer 2008.
