Remember a few months ago when Wii had announced some registered trademarks that they got for the Wii? There was a first batch of listed trademarks, and a few days later after that, a whole slew of them were added. People have been wondering what exactly those trademarks are for, especially now that Nintendo has released more info on the Wii Channels.

Justin from Play Nintendo put two and two together, and thought that maybe all those trademarks from before would actually be Wii Channels that would be incorporated in the future. Think about it seriously for a minute... First there's the WiiCulture, which (as a channel) could be some online community where people can check out news and everything under the sun about Wii. Then there's the strange !!M, which is basically Wii flipped 180-degrees clockwise. Some have speculated that it could be an IM client for the Wii, where people could chat up and send IMs with avatars (from the existing Mii Channel).

There's a whole slew of these trademarks, and just to name a few more, include WiiPointer, WiiCan, WiiKids, WiiSenior, and WiiWords. The rest of the trademarks can be found in the links above. So now, we're posting an open question for all of you guys to discuss. With the info about the Wii Channels, what would these trademarks mean? Would we find more Wii Channels in the future? Or are we just getting ahead of ourselves here? Comment to be heard!
