Wii stock re-stock: more units for UK |
Ó
UK/Europe seems to be getting a re-stock of Wii consoles this week. While a lot of people know that the units are pretty hard to come by, who ever said that they were actually out of stock to begin with? Apparently, GAME told SPOnG that the Wii would be "back in stock" and this statement seemed to confuse SPOnG. They tried to follow it up with Nintendo, and whether or not the issue is of the Wii going out of stock or not, they reassure that they've "been shipping in as many as we can on a regular basis."Upon further questioning of GAME's announcement, Nintendo replies that they never really gotten any shipment that was "over and above what we usually get in [allotment units]." Still not comfortable with this, SPOnG called up GameStation and confirmed that their chain would be getting a total of 3,000 Wii units this week and that pre-orders are ready to be filled.
Well, despite all the confusion, the point here is that UK will be getting a re-stock of more Wii units, whether as planned and allotted or not.

WEEE is like an infection....a diseasy spreading and poisoning the minds on kids around....
EVOLVE FFS!!!!! NEXT GEN IS GRAPHICS AND REALISM.
And if you so like those wireless swings around your room - write a petition to sony or ms to add this feat to their controllers.
***** those MARIOS and YOSHIS!!! GOW - MGS - HALO3 - DMC4 - ASSASSIN'S CREED and LOTS MORE FTW!!!!!!!!!
My local gamestation had 80 delivered LAST week. Once again QJ aren't the quickest at delivering the news.
GAME might be a bit behind as they didn't have any in stock last week. So looks like gamestation had a much better allocation earlier than game.
as for the first poster you're a stupid fanboy. Wii has never claimed to be next-gen and why do graphics and realism matter that much? I'll take a game that's fun over something that looks pretty. I own a 360 and a wii and since I got my wii my 360 has been off (and not for lack of games I own 41 games for 360, i have 2 games for wii and they're both much more fun than any of the 360 games i own).
The Wii is like ian infection in that every chance it has it *infects* another person.
Poor little fanboy sony and microsoft can't holdup when nintendo brings a great new idea to the table? Like how The DS beats the PSP in sales, new ideas sell more than being able to havbe more pixels on your stupid porn or having blood look 3% more realistic.
Nintendo are putting innovation forward instead of better graphics. Sony came forward with blue ray too early , it's a brandnew tech and it's expensive , IMO they should have waited for the PS4 before implementing blueray , once it had dropped in price.
If we are lucky the Wii and DS will force somethign onto it's competitors and match the need to add something real to a new console.
If the next wave of consoles don't bring a enw way to play , please explain to me how sony plans to improve graphics anymore now they have reached the pinnacle of graphic potential?
