Wii-mote and NunchunkThe fact that GameCube games are compatible with the coming Wii is probably the least of the reasons to get this next-gen console. There's the trim, graceful design, its powerful system and of course the official launch library of titles for November. The lineup could very well surpass second or third generation outings on other systems.

Since holiday is around the corner, it is very well you include these in your wish list. We also highlighted certain things to watch out for in each titles. Just click on the titles for further information about the games.

Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII: a flight action game set in WWII; the Wii version boasts of enhanced controls through     Wii-mote and nunchuck attachments

Blitz: The League: a classic of a football game that allows gamers to engage in off the court dirty, questionable activities like
taking steroids and hiring prostitutes for the other team to wear them out before a game.

Call of Duty 3: though the graphics on this version will not surpass PS3 and X360 counterparts, take note though that Nintendo's new controller is perfectly suited for First-person Shooter games

Dragon Ball Z Budokai: Tenkaichi 2: players can opt for the Wii-mote or classic controllers; 100 playable DBZ characters, 15 destructible environments, and a story mode that spans the whole Dragon Ball universe.

Elebits: 15 different levels and a four-player mode of zapping electrically-charged extraterrestrial critters

Excite Truck: part Excitebike 64 and part Hydro Thunder; uses the sideways control scheme best

Far Cry: new storyline, maps and characters; Wii-mote competes with the shooting accuracy the PC versions offer

GT Pro Series: simulation-style take on the emerging drift racing scene; may come with its own gameplay-enhancing accessory, possibly a steering wheel attachment.

Madden NFL 07: enable gamers to create their own players and feature some kind of online element

Metal Slug Anthology: includes classic Metal Slug titles such as the original Metal Slug, Metal Slug 2, Metal Slug X, Metal Slug 3, Metal Slug 4 and Metal Slug 5

Monster 4x4 World Circuit: bouncy arcade physics and a variety of big jumps and outrageous tracks; ability to perform mid-air tricks

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess: simply put, the greatest video game of all time

Marvel: Ultimate Alliance: 20 superheroes; unique ability to maneuver the camera with the controller and to perform special attacks without breaking up the momentum

Metroid Prime 3: Corruption: not every title needs a multiplayer component - especially one whose roots lies in the single-player arena.

Need for Speed Carbon: takes urban driving in a whole new direction, merging a hybrid of classic Need for Speed racing with fresh new environments and limitless vehicle tweaking

Rayman Raving Rabbids: fight in arenas to gain popularity with the bunnies through some 70 "contests," ranging from first-person-style shoot-offs to animal riding bouts and much more

Red Steel: runs in both pro-scan and 16:9 widescreen mode and feature a four-player split-screen multiplayer component

SpongeBob SquarePants: Creature from the Krusty Krab: nine extremely bizarre visual styles inspired by famous artists and paintings; variety of gameplay modes, from flying and racing to first-person shooting and platforming

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz: good old-fashioned puzzle arenas;50 whopping mini-games from hurdles and jump rope contests to ring tosses and target practice

Super Swing Golf Pangya: forgoes the popular online mode; enhanced graphics and a variety of characters, each with their own storyline; the game will ship with a few extras, such as one or two playable icons from Tecmo's formidable roster

Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam: arcade fast and constantly throws jumps, trick potential and shortcuts and racers; four-player mode is also planned; replay value is also upped because of a points-based system that challenges tricksters to keep trying out stages in order to accumulate higher totals

Trauma Center: Second Opinion: as the game progresses, the storyline and the patients become weirder and weirder; some new mechanics to the operating table including the use of a defibrillator

Wii Sports: makes terrific use of the Wii-mote and truly showcase Nintendo's vision for the new controller

I want Mario Dammit. If Super Mario Galaxy was a launch game I would pick up a Wii without hesitation on launch day.
