September 15, Friday, early morning. It was a cool night, peaceful, and serene. The people inside their houses across the street were just starting to turn on their lights to prepare breakfast. You can even smell the aroma of freshly brewed coffee. Early morning joggers were already on their second lap. People were either still asleep at bed - or falling off their chairs because of what they saw at Amazon. The Nintendo Wii went on pre-order last September 15. The earliest reported time that the pre order opened up was at about 7:30 am. Pre-ordering went crazy after that as it sold out by 11am, the same day! Four hours and it's sold out. Some even bought more than one.
It's not possible to know how many were pre-ordered but it's still on the top 6 sellers for Game Hardware. As of this writing, the pre order has stopped and according to the site, "Availability: We will e-mail you when this item becomes available." We'll have to wait when it comes back up again. Sigh.
Just goes to show that the early bird...well...you know the rest.

OMG, I actually was one of the lucky ones that opened amazon at 7:30 and placed my preorder!!! Wiiiii Im so happy!
i went to game crazy today and found out if i reserve a nintendo wii game they would call me as soon as you can reserve them!but you have to be a mvp card member cause they get to reserve them first so game crazy is the best bet right now f*%$ eb games and gamestop they dont tell you s*%@!!!!!!!!!
