We're clueless why the last time we've heard of Nintendo's Wii Music was quite a long time ago, but we do know that this new video holds much promise. Shigeru Miyamoto demonstrated the game back in 2006 using the Wiimote to make music either as an orchestra conductor or drummer, but it never surfaced again up until now.

Wii Music is back, and this time in 4-player goodness. In the video below, you'll find Miis in black suits playing Mario's theme with guitars, shakers, and other instruments. The beats are displayed on top, and they look fairly easy to follow. Unfortunately, there are no details yet pertaining to how the game will play. Seven Miis are on screen, making it seem like players will have to control more than one.

The game is still under tight wraps, but we'll keep you posted on any updates.
