Seiken has handed out another update for his retro space shmup, WiiSPACE, for the Nintendo Wii. What sets this game apart is that it supports up to four players for co-op gameplay. This update adds a few new features, such as an online high score table and classic controller support, so be sure to check the changelog when you download.

Changelog:

Added online high score table
Added classic controller support
Added background stars effect
Added configuration file allowing disable of background stars, and HUD compensation for overscan

Gave the last version a try.

Nicely done, but he needs to have an infinite lives option - my son dies too quickly and doesn't really get to play it.
