Make a folder called "apps" on the root of your sd card. (Be sure to not include the quotes). In the folder "apps", make a folder called "WadManagerv1.7" (Again, without the quotes.)in the folder "WadManagerv1.7" copy or move to "boot.dol" file. :D :D :D

You have the /apps folder and the /wad folder
Put the app in the /apps folder and the .wad in the /wad folder (everything on the root of your SD card)

YOU REPLACE THE DOL FILE WITH THE ONE YOU HAVE IN YOUR OLD WAD MANAGER FOLDER IN APPS OR CREATE A WAD MANAGER FOLDER PUT THE DOL IN THERE THEN PUT IT IN APPS FOLDER NOT ON THE ROOT OF SD CARD

I have a wierd issue where my wiimote turns off as soon as I hit 'ok'. I'm pretty sure I did everything right. I put the wads in /wad and I renamed WadManager1.7 to boot.dol and placed it in the /apps/wadmanager1.7 folder.

I load up the wadmanager fine, then I run it with IOS249. But after I hit 'A', it goes to the next screen and my wiimote will not work (so I cannot hit 'A' again to continue).

Try using another cIOS and see if your wiimore works. I always used IOS36 with Wad Manager and never had an issue.
Any IOS with trucha bug enabled should do fine.

Once in the HB channel, I see the WAD Manager (an older version - 1.5) but how does one upgrade with the new files (1.7) from the SD card?? This is all very confusing ;-(

# I always get "this channel can't be used" errorAmplus 2012-01-08 14:13
Hello,

I am able to install wads with this manager. After install I get a new channel for each game, however I can't execute any of them, then I get an error "This channel can't be used". I'm using Ver. 4.1E when I go into Wii system settings. I use the default IOS - 249. I also tried IOS36 with the same error. Any ideas?

it freezes with 249. Works great with IOS38. Probably ought to mention this in the readme file if 249 freezes.

This does suck nearly as much as I thought it did after I figured this bug out.

If you use IOS38 instead of IOS249, it won't freeze.

It works great after figuring this bug out.
