Wii Homebrew Manager v1.0 - keep track of your Wiibrew library |
Ó
Wii homebrew has only been around for a few months, but the community is already booming, and homebrew programs are popping up faster than Mario's mushrooms! If you find yourself a little overwhelmed with all the homebrew you've acquired, you might want to check out this new program (yes, it is also homebrew) from programmer Reppa.
The program is called Homebrew Manager and it basically does what its title suggests. You'll need the PC for this one. Just hook up your SD card where you keep your homebrew to your PC, run the file, and you're good to go. One thing though: the program is in French, so you might have to feel your way around.
Homebrew Manager basically allows you to add information and descriptions of your homebrew files to an XML file for quick reference. If you're the type who has a huge library of Wiibrew and you want to keep them all updated, you might find this useful. Here are the developer's notes (as translated by Google, so pardon our French):
Level use I could be more simple:
- You must necessarily be in his SD card reader connected to the PC
- The load is normally automatic, if this is not the case it may need to select the drive containing the SD card via the combo at the top of the program.
- The creation of a homebrew, automatically create files on the SD card good place based on the name of your homebrew.
- Once the new homebrew added a new entry will be available in the list of homebrew. Select there.
- Amend the fields on the screen while avoiding the use of focus (the chain homebrew does not support it), the record button will change the XML file
- To change the image just click on it and choose any image file, it will automatically resize and register on the SD to PNG.
- The amendment to the ELF file is on the same principle it suffices to choose and it will copy where it should.
- -- For the moment I have only one linked to the XML file homebrew Wii64, for a reason returns lines of this file are not recognized as returns line by my software, although I did no problem with other xml files, therefore I give this link to replace your meta.xml by a change: meta.xml amended to Wii64
