i dont ever understand this stuff what is a dip plugin ?
this is whats in the Readme for the IOS installer:
"...
[ HOW TO INSTALL IT ]:
- Copy "IOS36-64-v1042.wad" file to the root of a SD card.
- Insert the SD card on your Wii.
- Run the installer.
..."
the file in the DL is a .dol file of a different name. whats going on here?
.dol is an execution file for the Wii.
If you can not figure this out Slack, quit trying right now. It's basic.
thanks "1337 gamer". how very "1337" of you to give such fantastic advice. keep it up!
Anyone else getting an error trying to install this?
I try to install the ios36v7 via wad manager and it gives me an error. Other WADs work fine its just these 2 give me errors.
I had ios36v5 installed so I uninstalled it and still no luck, so I reinstalled it and still it gives me an error.
My bad. It's late, I'm tired and I read it wrong.
It's a DOL not a WAD........ Told ya I'm tired....
i patched to 3.3 after installing the hbc and i figured everything else would work fine, but this and dvdx either return errors or never work. just gonna wait it out till 3.3 is worked around.
the devs in the hb community are doing an awesome job!
i doubt it'll take long but just in case i'm looking into savemiifrii and format system memory as possible rollbacks.. hopefully one of them will kill 3.3 and allow me to backup and restore my saved info.
