Wii homebrew: Dop-IOS v8

Homebrew coder Marc has released a new update to Dop-IOS, a homebrew tool for that allows you download and install any IOS from Nintendo servers. The latest version is now updated to support the new IOS on the recently released Wii system menu 4.2.

Changelog:
  • Version 8:
    • Updated to all 4.2 new IOS.
  • Version 7:
    • Fixed 'IOS62' bug.
    • Added IOS56.
    • Added short descriptions to IOS selection.
  • Version 6:
    • Added support for IOS57.
    • Cleaner code.
  • Version 5:
    • Fixed a bug introduced in v3 that let you install stub IOSes.

If you use this then update to 4.2 will it still delete the HBC and custom IOS's ?? or does this stop that, cuz that's kind of the big problem with 4.2 =P

For those of you who are afraid of the new 4.2 update, just update your homebrew channel with the auto update.

as you can read, 4.2 just blocks the ID of the HBC. That's why it won't work. But it has already been updated, QJ just didn't get to reporting it yet.



Best thing would be not to install 4.2 though. Since 4.2 is useless anyway.
