Wii homebrew - Dolphin Rev 2745: PAL SSBB, Tatsunoko vs Capcom now running |
Ó

Fighting game fanatics should have a field day with the latest unofficial build of the Dolphin GameCube and Wii emulator. Why? Well, both the PAL version of Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Tatsunoko vs Capcom are now running, for one. Things still get a bit buggy at times, but they, they run.
While that in itself is already good news, it's not the only thing new in Dolphin rev 2745. Here's the rest of the changelog:
- Force bi/trilinear filtering (re)enabled (OpenGL plugin)
- You can now view and extract from all partitions on a wii disc in the filesystem viewer
- Many fixes for Wii HLE functions
- Destination Alpha fixed (OpenGL plugin)
- Greatly revamped logging system has been implemented
- Fixed black edges seen around some transparent textures
- Added ability to show efb copy regions (OpenGL plugin)
- Added ability to suppress PanicAlerts
- Switched to a different (better sounding) DTK ADPCM (streaming audio) decoder
- IL build obeys "optimize quantizers" setting (disabling it fixes the "huge characters" issue in SSBB)
- More settings can be set per-game via the GameConfig
- EFB to RAM setting now upscales correctly

Tryed it But having Some small problems
1. no wii Mote plugins ??
2. I Use my PS3 controller to play games and emulators But It's Not working for the GameCube emulator on this =(
I tryed GameCube game Zelda Wind Waker it Look to run Good (little Slow) but Good BUT i can't Use my Keyboard Or game pad to play it =(
im using version 2666.
keyboard works.
sixaxis on wiimote - no success.
sixaxis on gc controller - works ok but sometimes link from wind waker doesnt wanna Crouch with the R1 button.
maybe this emulator is firstly designed to work with the real wiimotes, xbox 360 wired controllers, keyboard. and dxinput is just a last minute addition because dxinput is so crappy.
more powerful pc needed to really be playable.
tatsunoko is already playable in older builds like what im using.
