I have finally found a reason to play those awful Wisdom Tree Bible games for the NES: use the trivia I learn in them to ace BibleQuiz! Well actually, no, I won't do that. Those things are just too horrible for even one playthrough.

Anyway, homebrew dev wplaat has released a new version of BibleQuiz. If the name didn't clue you in, this is a quiz game that tests your knowledge of the Bible.

So far, it has 10 English questions from the book of Genesis, 10 German questions (Genesis again), and 28 Dutch questions from different parts of the Bible. It's all open-source, so you can add your own questions to it. Here's the changelog for this release:
  • Hotfix to prevent core dump with 60Hz (480i) Tv mode
  • Donated the bibleQuiz source code to the community. Comments are welcome

» The comments are funny because,

What most people dont realize is that people who have religion outnumber those who don't.

I'm laughing on the inside.

» facepalm to all of you

Why do you guys have to make complete 4SSES of yourselves every time something religious is mentioned?

Grow the -7uck up and be respectful.

» lolwut.

Here's the thing. Just because atheists are in the minority doesn't make religion any less irrational and ignorant. People need to grow up and realize their imaginary friend is a load of bull, just like Santa and the Easter Bunny.
