System Menu 4.2 caused quite a bit of grief not only for the Wii homebrew community but to the general Wii populace as well. While we haven't heard anything from Nintendo yet about the latter, we do have good news for the homebrew fans out there. A new version of Bannerbomb has been released, opening the Wii to homebrew once again.

As developer Comex explains it, Bannerbomb is an exploit capable of launching homebrew from any version of the System Menu. This particular release has been configured to work on System Menu 4.2. For details on how to get it up and running on your Wii, hit the source link below.

» I agree!

You are certainly right! I am at FW 4.1U, HBC and BootMii enable, still have some probs trying to run an actual WBFS partidition out of my 1TB , 2TB Dual Bay Enclosure... So I can use WiiFlow :)

Thanks
