Nintendo has announced that the Wii has now crossed the 30 million mark in the United States alone, reaching the milestone 15 months faster than the next best-selling console.
According to Nintendo’s internal sales figures, this significant milestone was reached in just 45 months, further establishing the Wii as the "fastest-selling console in the history of the industry."
In addition, Nintendo and NPD also provided the top 10 best-selling Nintendo published and third-party published titles through June 2010 in the United States.
Here's the top 10 best-selling Nintendo-published Wii games:
- Wii Play
- Mario Kart Wii
- Wii Fit (with Wii Balance Board accessory)
- New Super Mario Bros. Wii
- Wii Sports Resort
- Super Smash Bros. Brawl
- Super Mario Galaxy
- Wii Fit Plus (with Wii Balance Board accessory)
- Mario Party 8
- Link's Crossbow Training
Here's the top 10 best-selling Wii games from third-party publishers:
- Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock
- Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games

just because it sold well doesn't make it the best or do anything other than show there are a lot of idiots out there.
...also a lot of people bought one expecting something good for it to only end up collecting dust.
