Wii Head Tracking powers new 3D game |
Ó
You've seen how his Wii Head Tracking system replicates environments by having the monitor display what the player is "looking at". In the video below, the ante is upped with a simple 3D game further demonstrating what the innovation is capable of.
Again, the point is driven as to how versatile the Wii Remote and the Sensor Bar are. With a dash of inspiration, developers can turn simple stick-waggling into brilliant new concepts. Enjoy this clip below and celebrate yet another great contribution by the user-gen sector.

Since No Sense hasn't trolled this one yet, I'll fill in for him --
Mister No Sense -- "DAAHHHHhhhh This game looks like ***** I can't believe this is actually a Wii game this is worse than Nintendo 64 like every Wii game Wii sux!"
... there, now this post is complete.
Nintendo should hire this guy. Seriously, this crap is buffing awesome. Just like Tank Wars for the PS3, innovativeness FTW
The funny thing is I didn't see a Wii or Wiimote in the entire video, just a computer.
Anyway, Nintendo didn't invent this technology, just like the DS's touch screen. I'm curious if a Wii was involved at all. I can't wait to see if any true next gen systems or games use head tracking. Much more intuitive than the Wiimote.
just STFU ok yeah nintendo didnt invent it but they were the first to use it with games
