Remember how we said you can make non-gamers into gamers? Well, here's another success story of that happening, leading another group of individuals to follow the footsteps of elderly gamers like Barbara St. Hilaire and Doris Self.

According to the Chicago Tribune, there's an entire retirement community in Lincolnshire that's gotten hooked on Wii Sports' bowling game. In fact, they even have weekly tournaments and, when their grandkids come to visit, they're the ones indoctrinating their grandkids into gaming with friendly competition.

The story's definitely a lighthearted read, and there are even pictures. The Wii's definitely expanding the demographic and redefining the image of gamers and gaming. Our question is, have you ever used a game to connect with people like the Wii's managed to do? Send us your thoughts on it.

Maybe because the wii was suppose to be a system for the elderly because of the excercise it gives. Y do you think a lot of mom wanted to buy the wii for their fat children.

So they can do excercise and get rid of the im to lazy factor.

Thats why I bought the wii for my fat brother

Why do you think it because a big success.

» Nice!

Well, we're glad to see it on mainstream media. It's always nice to have a positive spin on gaming from newspapers and tv shows.

» In before "elderly person breaks hip due to video games"

It's great to see more people playing video games. It's just a matter of time before someone gets riled up about how its destroying our youth.

I'd like to see PS3 try to sppeal to the elderly.....

The elderly might be offended because the PS3 looks like a COFFIN.
