Wii - Image 1In the aftermath of GDC, it was revealed that flOw was very close to becoming a Wii release, but in the end, Sony won the battle and the game will be a PS3 exclusive for now.

Ars Technica was able to get comments coming from Kellee Santiago of That Game Company, and Santiago was open to some interesting details. It was revealed that Sony was more supportive of the project than Nintendo, helping the developer set up the studio and get things going.

While talks with Nintendo were generally amicable, the Wii maker did not seem as aggressive as its rival in providing assistance to That Game Company. Santiago described choosing between the two console giants as "the hardest decision" that his company had to make, but expressed happiness in teaming up with Sony to work on the PS3. That Game Company did not rule out possible projects on the Wii platform in the future.

Ars Technica's report went on to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of each platform regarding how the game will play, saying that the SIXAXIS may not be as easy to wield as the Wii controller but it does rise to the occasion. They also emphasized that HD graphics should be good for the game, as well as any out there.

"We're very happy that flOw is on the way and we're looking forward to our first glimpses of the anticipated title." uh.... what? I- isn't it already out?? Haven't I already been playing it for like 2 weeks? well, no I haven't... but I've been able to play it. And you guys are just getting FIRST glimpses and ANTICIPATING this title?

there should be an article called "why there aren't any single player games on the damn thing". Then you guys could examine why jack ***** comes out for the console. Oh, did i say crap? I meant garbage like no more heroes.

Bah to you too

I paid the 7.99 to download it. I'm glad I did because it rocks. I put on some music of my own and play for hours. One of the neat things is that a friend can jump in anytime and play along with you. The graphics are amazing in full HD and the sixaxis controller works great.

Awesome game!!!!

Seriously I downloaded it and played it for 2 hours the first time I turned it on. You forget time exsits! Not sure how great the HD is on it I mean it's kind of a simple game really. Glad PS3 has it because they need a winner right off the bat and that was it. Hope to see more of them games.
