Opoona with his bonbon - Image 1So what else can we know about Koei's "lifestyle RPG", Opoona? Apart from the well-settled facts that it will be exclusive to the Wii, and that it will be out in Japan this summer, it's also good to know the character you will be playing in this game.

Alright, let's get this rolling. Opoona, the character, is actually a descendant of the Cosmo Guard, who were renowned for being brave warriors and who made it their task to maintain world peace. Now, Opoona was on his way to visit Landroll along with his family when his siblings suddenly go missing, while his parents ended up in the hospital. As to how this happened, it's up to you to discover.

Your quest to find out what happened to your family will bring you to places far and wide, even beyond the galaxy. Of course, as with any state in this world (and from the looks of it, this also applies to those beyond our world), you will need a license to get about the missions you'll have to do. So, take your pick: idol, rescuer or detective?

All along, there will be your Tamodachi Level which necessarily increases, and thereby upgrades your job options, so to speak. Not before long -- actually depending on how good and fast you do your work -- a whole new world of opportunities and adventures open up for you.

Later on in your journey, you will meet your siblings, Copoona, the now-bonbon-flinging brother, and sister Poleena. Then there's also Chaika, a fighter that is described as skillful and useful in your battle against the Dark Rogues. But it won't be all be business. Of course, as with every travel, there has to be some kind of shopping. So, you'll also get to shop for rare collectibles. A little something to remember your adventure by, we guess.
