Looking for Wiis nowadays is like finding a hardcore gamer to trade Pokemon with: you know there's probably more than one out there, but you'll never find him with your luck. It's a good thing the folks from Joystiq managed to scrounge up a bit of information for you, or you'd still be waiting for your Wii. According to the memo Joystiq received on the right, EB Games and GameStop stores will be holding Wiis till the weekend, when the families come rushing into stores to buy Wiis for their younguns. If you're exceedingly nice to your friendly retail people, they can probably pull a string or two if you really can't wait, but we wish you luck with that.
Some additional notes: this is for the Mid-East Coast, apparently. Check with your stores first to see if they're part of the FSI (Fire Sale Imminent!) or not. Also, expect additional PS2 units and Xbox 360 elites to come that way, if you're so inclined to buy either.
