Magician Lord gets ESRB rating - Image 1

Good news from the realm of game ratings. Checking the ESRB site, we noticed that SNK's Magician Lord has finally received its rating from the ESRB, ensuring that the game isn't going to be Japan-specific. As with most games, it also means that you can expect Magician Lord to hit the virtual console on your Wii very soon.

Not sure what Magician Lord is? Here's a quick recap. In Magician Lord, you are Elta, the very last Magician Lord, and your task is to save your homeland from Gul-Agieze, an evil baddie who plans on resurrecting the God of Destruction using a collection of eight mystical tomes.

In each of the eight levels, you'll be picking up special abilities that allow you to transform your character into another type of hero with a specific elemental affinity. You have to use your special abilities to get through the eight levels, and ultimately stop the God of Destruction from rising with the powers you've picked up.

Expect us to bring more word on Magician Lord as it gets closer to release. In the meantime, sit tight!
