Virtual Console: Incoming SNES titles for January |

Something green, hairy, and pointy-eared is making its way to the Virtual Console this month, at least according to Nintendo Power. Their March issue has just announced the releases for this January, which will include Zelda: A Link to the Past and Donkey Kong Country.The issue also mentions the release of Super Mario World (previously mentioned), which Mario fans will remember as the title that debuted everybody's favorite dinosaur, Barney Yoshi. We don't know the full details on the other VC releases at this point, though the launch is targetted to hit North America.
For the fans, we join you in celebrating the announcement of these seriously missed SNES classics - we're finally getting the good stuff.

Finally some games I will buy!
Finally some games I will buy!
I only buy stuff I never had the chance to play before. I still have a perfectly functional SNES hooked up to the tv my wii is hooked up to, and already have all 3 of these games, so it'd be a waste of money for me, but it is nice to see some familiar stuff showing up on the VC, now if they would just get to some independent 3rd party games, I'd be excited
