VC Australia Adventure Island - Image 1The Office of Film and Literature Classification or OFLC has rated both Adventure Island and Spelunker for the Nintendo Wii Virtual Console service in Australia.

Both these games will definitely appeal to fans of both platformers and insanely difficult games. Adventure Island originally came out on the Nintendo Entertainment System in the late 80s.

The premise of the game is simple enough with players tasked to guide Master Higgins from one end of the island to the other. All of these efforts, of course, are for the captured princess.

Spelunker, on the other hand, came out for the NES and Commodore 64 around the same time Adventure Island did. Players in this title have to guide the character to the bottom of a huge cave to get the treasure.

Even during its time, this title was considered extremely difficult and should provide many hours of gameplay even for the most hardcore of gamers.
