Video: Tom Clancy's EndWar World War III internet clip

Little is known about Ubisoft's upcoming strategy game, Tom Clancy's EndWar. All that we have so far is a few old preview videos, a TBA 2008 release date, and this new promotional World War III Internet Clip. Behold, the ambiguity:

Other things that we do know is that the title is under development by Ubisoft's Shanghai studio and that the game, as hinted by the trailer, is set in WWIII. That, and that EGM will be featuring Tom Clancy's EndWar in its June 2007 issue.

The game is set to be made for "next-generation consoles," or so the reports so far say. IGN is anticipating a Wii version, as they have a section up for the game on their site when you do a search there. GameTrailers is a bit more conservative, listing the game as set for the Sony PlayStation 3 and the Microsoft Xbox 360.

Tecmo announced today that the release of the highly anticipated Ninja Gaiden Sigma playable demo is available now on the Playstation Network.

“The Ninja Gaiden Sigma demo is a great way for Playstation 3 owners to get a sneak peek at the Team NINJA masterpiece,” said Yoh Watanabe, Tecmo’s Marketing Manager. “For the first time ever, Ninja Gaiden will be playable exclusively on a PlayStation platform and we’re amazed at how incredible Sigma looks and feels. This is the must-have demo for the must-have game.”

Take control of Master Ninja Ryu Hayabusa as he slices his way through enemy ninjas with dual-katana blades, blasts away evil fiends using ninpo magic, and overcomes insurmountable obstacles with the use of wall-jumping, ninja techniques.

The demo will feature 1080p ninja action at 60fps, new weapons, new combos and secret unlockable ninja content. The Ninja Gaiden Sigma demo is now available only on the Playstation Network!

Is End War a brand new franchise? Or is it the continuation of the GRAW series? Those soldiers and the setting look identical to GRAW 2, so do the events in Mexico in GRAW 1/2 lead to WWIII? Or is this really a new IP? It'd be pretty stupid to have two modern warfare IPs
