Monster Hunter 3 is all set for an August 1 launch in Japan. Gamers outside the region will have to wait for an official announcement from Capcom, but they're working on it.
Oh, an aside: I hope the slash axe shows up in the next Monster Hunter Freedom game. It looks pretty damn cool.

I want to pick this up, but I DO NOT want to play this with a Wiimote...the controls are hard enough on a PSP.
